You are welcome! it is fun to see this site come alive!! I think it's easier than IDF. But we have so much invested over there. I keep checking both sites. I'm having fun figuring this out.

Have you read the instruction from the help page? The instructions are quite easy to follow. I have read the help pages here and on twitter (for copying embedded videos - involving the three dots etc.). It is easy to bring over a video that gives a URL that you can all click on to see. I am referring to posts on twitter that have a video with them but no link to the video in the written text. Clicking to copy the URL does not bring the video over. It brings it as a still picture. Twitter gives directions to hit the three dots and then get a code, but that does not work for me either. If you, or anyone, can advise me on this it would be most welcome. It is frustrating on concert nights to be unable to bring over these embedded videos when I see them. I am so glad you were able to bring over a video without having to post the URL! In what part of the help did you find this explained? I have been unable to locate the icon with the black box in the help section for copying videos until I just came back to edit this post. Now I am seeing a whole group of tools available that I never see on my box for a quick response. I will look to make a post that is not a quick response and see if the tools appear so I can try to use the black box to start the procedure to bring over an embedded video from twitter. Spending hours on this. I hit reply in the upper right and get a box in which all the tools show. I am trying my best to practice bringing over tweets for concert nights since that is a major part of my contribution to this site. I have found that I can copy and paste the tweet itself - but it must be done first because once the video is in place no more text can be added to the post. Once the text is in place, I hit the black box and a pop up window shows asking for the URL for the video. Now remember this is for an embedded video not providing a URL in the text! So I click on the picture with my mouse and get the "copy video URL" and entering that into the URL pop up did not work. I am about to try hitting the three dots and get a paste option from the embed video list that pops up. Here is the attempt: <img src="//images.proboards.com/v5/bbcode/video-preview.png" video=" I loved seeing bae last Saturday in Elkins. ? @scottymccreery #ILoveYouThisBig pic.twitter.com/1ZxcPFSNBs — Marlee (@marlee_Jean) May 9, 2015
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>" alt="Video Preview"> No video is showing and the text from the tweet is not showing that should have come with it. I have never been able to bring over the videos even on IDF. At the moment totally frustrated with this. I have to leave it for now. Well the text in the tweet came over but is jumbled and the URL lacks the http:// that would make it visible if you clicked on it. I had no option to create that. Certainly, the video did not appear to be embedded on this site which was the intent. I am feeling like I am really missing something in doing all of this.

For tweets with videos that don't include a link in the text, click on the video (so it's playing and not just an image of the video) then put the cursor over the video and right click the mouse. You should get a menu that will let you choose to Copy Video Location. Then you can copy/paste the link. Sometimes, I've noticed the right click menu will not give you the copy video choice, so sometimes they must have protections or are not a format that includes a link. You can do the same thing with photos that don't have a link in the tweet text.
This is something you can try, but I'll play with this later and see if I can get a better handle on what works.

Using the Quick Reply box will not give you the editing tools (until after the message is posted), use the Reply button on the top right side of the Quick Reply box and it will open a box with tools without having to do the two-step process.

Thank you for your help. I will try again. Here is the tweet I am working on bringing to you. It is posted by a fan and is not a professionally made video. it is typical of what I see on a concert night. Marlee @marlee_Jean 13h13 hours ago I loved seeing bae last Saturday in Elkins. ? @scottymccreery #ILoveYouThisBig She has a video with it probably from her iPhone. I will try doing the black box here, play the video, right click, choose Copy video location and copy into the black box. Okay tried it and there was no option to "Copy video location". Now I will try a professionally made video. That option did not come up on a Vimeo, you tube, or on the WRAL video either. Thanks so much for trying to help. I really appreciate having the hints.

I posted in the Test thread how to post Twitter videos. You will need to use some coding. Instagram videos do not work on this board due to coding.

I understand that their ranking system is based on Billboard Hot 100 (pop music) hits. But I don't think that should be the only criteria. There are artists who don't really chart on BB Hot 100. For example, George Strait & Alan Jackson in their careers have had very few hits chart on this chart. They've still had legendary careers.

Sorry to see Kellie Pickler wasn't included. She's done really well, but is unfortunately overlooked in these rankings.

'American Idol' Cancellation: Scotty McCreery, Constantine Maroulis, Taylor Hicks & More Alumni React By Billboard Staff | May 11, 2015 12:57 PM EDT Scotty's message: "American Idol changed my life. It was a great way for me to pursue my dreams of being a country music singer and introduce myself to the nation. I am so thankful to the show, the producers, the judges, and the audience for everything they did for me. American Idol has been a dominant force in our pop culture for almost a decade and a half, but all good things must come to an end. I wish everyone involved with the show my best and know they will all continue to do great things.” -- Scotty McCreery, season 10 winner www.billboard.com/articles/news/6561188/american-idol-cancellation-alumni-react

Yes I do need help...maybe because I am on my iPad which is a Mac product. The laptop upstairs is a Microsoft product and that is where they want me to go to edit my profile which is editing my photo....so if someone else could do it I'd be very grateful. I am downstairs most of the time cause it's easier to deal with the chemo side effects from down here.
