I don't know where to post this, but it relates to Scotty's music. It's a list of songs Scotty co-wrote that are included on BMI Repertoire. Most of the songs were included in his 2nd album, but this list may have not listed other songs Scotty co-wrote. Two of the songs listed were not included on the 2nd album. I'm particularly curious about this song "Miss Hit and Run" sounds interesting too. Maybe these unreleased songs would be included in album #3.

"Scotty McCreedy" is actually old. Conan on his talk show had messed up Scotty's name & said Scotty McCreedy. In a skit, Scotty sang a song how he changed his name to Scotty McCreedy. One of the songwriters, Matt Reviere was Scotty's former guitar player who now is the guitarist for The Band Perry. Here's the video of the Conan skit:

LOL that's pretty funny. But is that the same song? Or is there a real full song called "Scotty McCreedy"? EDIT: It has the lowest BMI Work #, so it could be the same song. I can't believe they would actually register that skit song on BMI ><

Ah thanks for the clarification That makes sense. Based on BMI Work #s, I see that "Miss Hit and Run" was registered before "Now" and a couple other songs that were included in Scotty's SYT album. They may still include it on the 3rd album... or not. Any news about Scotty co-writes on the 3rd album?

Other than Whiplash, are there any other songs on that list that Scotty already performed? TBH, I prefer "Whiplash" over "Southern Belle".

TBH, after the first listen of both songs I preferred "Whiplash." After a few listens, I actually like "Southern Belle" more than "Whiplash." I like both songs & if either was released as singles I think they would both do pretty well (Top 20 or higher). IMO both songs sound like stuff radio would play.

We still haven't seen the song title that Scotty referenced in a tweet saying the best they've written yet with a picture of Lovelace, Rodgers and Scotty
